Our problem is there is no address or phone numbers on the instruction sheet, we can't find the manufacture A note at the bottom says contact your SEMCO distributor for any known version changes. That device sounds pretty 'hoaky' to me. I have been defaulting locked DSC boards for years and I can't visualize that device as anything really useful. There are a variety of different ways to default a locked board, and they vary considerably from panel to panel and chip to chip. Solar Radiation Data Handbook Definition here. And they certainly vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Some can be done right at the keypad; others take expensive equipment.

I know about defaulting the panels and replacing the board but I have heard rumors about keypads that will crack the codes and or software. DSC Panel locked out. Don't waste your money. There are three places to get this done. For the USA, contact Jim Rojas of this newsgroup For Eastern Canada, contact yours truly (www.homemetal.com) For Western Canada, contact www.unlockservices.com And don't expect anyone to give you the installer code in the panel. It's not their's to give out. I know I said I was going to leave this group for good, but perhaps not.
